3. Professional Standards

We are regulated by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and adhere to their Code of Professional Ethics. Our RCIC license number is R123456. We are committed to providing ethical, professional, and competent immigration services.

4. Client Responsibilities

As our client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
  • Respond promptly to requests for information or documentation
  • Pay fees as agreed upon in the retainer agreement
  • Follow our advice and recommendations
  • Notify us immediately of any changes to your circumstances
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

5. Service Limitations

Our services are subject to the following limitations:

  • We cannot guarantee the success of any immigration application
  • Immigration decisions are made solely by government authorities
  • Processing times are determined by government agencies, not by us
  • We are not responsible for changes in immigration laws or policies
  • We cannot provide legal advice outside the scope of immigration law

6. Fees and Payment

Our fees are outlined in individual retainer agreements and are based on the complexity and scope of services required. Payment terms include:

  • Fees are due as specified in the retainer agreement
  • Government fees are separate and payable directly to authorities
  • Refunds are subject to the terms of the retainer agreement
  • Outstanding fees may result in suspension of services

7. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with professional standards and privacy laws. We will not disclose your information except:

  • As required for your immigration application
  • With your written consent
  • As required by law or court order
  • To prevent serious harm to you or others

8. Website Use

  • You remain responsible for fees incurred up to termination
  • Confidentiality obligations continue indefinitely
  • We may retain copies of documents as required by law

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
